Pastor Stephen Drake

In 1992, Dallas native, STEPHEN DRAKE responded to the call to ministry by changing his then Pre-Law major to Theology. He completed his studies and graduated with honors from the Arlington Baptist College in 1998.

"STEVE" DRAKE served for more than five years on staff at Cornerstone Baptist Church (Arlington, TX) in the Evangelism Ministry. It was at Cornerstone that STEPHEN DRAKE served as elder over numerous ministries, supervised more than 100 volunteers and found his passion leading mission trips and organizing evengelistic crusades.

In 1999, the Lord laid it on the heart of STEPHEN DRAKE to start a multi-cultural church in the H-E-B area.  With the blessing of his pastor and hosts of well wishes, the vision of CHRIST MEMORIAL COMMUNITY CHURCH soon became certain reality.

He is currently pursuing his Master's of Divinity while steadily supporting missions and serving God by serving others. STEPHEN DRAKE and his wife of more than 20 years have four children and 2 grandchildren.

First Lady Tanya Drake

Fellow Dallas native, TANYA DRAKE is a trained musician, talented vocalist and Math Teacher for Fort Worth ISD. She was also an active former member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where her creative abilities and artistic talents were a blessing.

At CMCC, TANYA DRAKE continues to be a blessing and to inspire God's praises, serving as Music Director and leading the Women's Ministries, lovingly called:"Women of Grace" and "Anointed Young Women of Grace." Oftentimes,TANYA DRAKE is invited to speak or to lead Praise & Worship with music and song at neighboring sister church events in various locations across the metroplex.
